Assisted Living at Potomac House

We have an experienced staff who provide 24-hour care and assistance to each resident. We are dedicated to encouraging each resident to maintain a level of independence that is important to them.

Our staff provide daily meals, snacks, house-keeping, trash and laundry services, medication assistance, and assistance with daily activities.

Our focus and robust hiring practices are designed to identify, hire, and retain a team that shares a passion for caring for others – and see it as a mission as much as a job.

Services

A smaller, individualized service plan to cater to each resident’s needs and preferences. Daily activities schedule for social and mental engagement. Support for activities of daily living. Option to participate in a house-call based primary medical care service. This means your loved one’s primary care provider will come to him or her instead of trying to schedule transportation to and from the doctor’s office.

About Potomac House

Potomac House I was established in 2017 by a local family aiming to build a true home-like environment where residents received quality care. Thanks to the success of this original home, the community was expanded in the Fall of 2020 with the launch of Potomac House II. Shortly thereafter, the communities where acquired by Paragon Assisted Living, and we are excited to continue to build upon the great foundation laid by the original owners.

Paragon Assisted Living is focused on the premise that fostering a strong culture of caring and joy will lead to the highest level of satisfaction for our residents. We invest heavily in identifying, hiring, and retaining the highest quality team who share a passion for caring for others. Our sister company, Paragon Home Care [insert hyperlink that opens a new window], was established in 2013 and has been recognized for providing the highest level of service based on the same premise. Our goal is to foster a community that supports health of mind, body and soul that delivers purpose, autonomy and joy to our residents.
